Blue monday

When the sunday sunseekers left Hotel B Boutique to go back to San Salvador, we moved in. Only for a night in total relaxation. It is the most beautiful hotel I have ever lived in. I wish the room was my bedroom! So airy, such a wonderful view, made me feel free! Just waking up to the sound of the ocean and seeing it from the bed made my heart sing. It took two years to built the hotel, on a cliff hanging over the pacific ocean in El Salvador. I felt so lucky to be able to go here!
I pretended to be Paris Hilton for a day. Sipping coconut water near the pool :D

On a dark november day

"Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the ones less traveled by. And that has made all the difference."

I am reading a book by a norwegian mental trainer. For those of you who understand norwegian:

Ille bra julevors - a christmas preparty

This saturday I invited some friends for a preparty, and look what Inger made. A rebus made of "lussekatter", a norwegian tradition for the 13th of december. The are made with saffron and raisins.

I made it! "Ille bra julevors" ("very good christmas preparty"" in my Fredrikstad dialekt)
And the prize for us girlies? A cake made by one of Anne who was in the competition for Norwegian cheese cake of the year! YUM!!!!

And then we hit the town!

LATVIAN LIFE

Thursday morning I left sunny Oslo with a friend and took off on a 1 1/2 hour flight to Riga. Together with a bunch of horny men who where drinking hot n´sweet on the plane, we headed for the latvian capital. We were going there for the cheap spas and some cheap sky bar drinks, while a lot of the guys had some other kind of fun on their minds. We were going to hear about it all in a sauna a few days later.

Autumn in the streets of Riga

We walked around the streets, popping into little antique shops and eating amazing food. At a place called Raw Garden, we found the most amazing raw food. It cost around 5-6 dollars for a main course.

A happy me at a chinese restaurant.

The skybar!

Radisson Blue had a sky bar on top. Cheap cocktails yay!! And lots of prostitutes with fake blond hair who went for the old, grey haired rich men at the end of the night. No thanks!

 Spatime!

We went back to the hotel with the sky bar to chill out on sunday. The hotel had a swimming pool area with saunas and a beautiful pool. Perfect on a sunday..:)

In the sauna we met these four guys on a work trip to Riga. They worked in a truck company (off course) and had been drinking for four days. One of them had spent over 300 dollars one night, which was definitely not only drinks (that´s not possible in Riga!). Poor latvian ladies, having to spread their legs for these fat old norwegian guys! In this picture they are checking out the blond girl at the other side of the room. We met them on the plane back as well, which was around 80 % guys. I guess the latvian ladies got some cash this weekend! These guys are definitely broke ;)

Cheers for Riga!
